Artist Statement

My journey as an oil painter began as a very personal choice, sparked by a health challenge that inspired me to pursue a bucket list goal. Oil painting. Over time, it evolved into a daily practice and a vital creative outlet. I am drawn to the simplicity of still life, the day to day of the human figure, and the beauty of landscapes, where I explore the interplay of form and emotion. By pushing the boundaries of color and brushstroke, I aim to infuse my work with energy and a fresh perspective, offering viewers a connection to the beauty and vibrancy of my everyday moments.”
